Who ever makes the money...

One of my 'friends' on Myspace sent me this link. My first reaction was "right on" but after a while I was like "ummm...cool your jets turbo." but really, all in all...there are some good points trying to be made.
Primary Objectives Stop the polarization of America Stop the domination of the Democratic and Republican parties over our political system Shut down the Federal Reserve system Return America's gold to Fort Knox and have it audited Have Congress and the IRS, in a public forum, reveal the law that requires Americans to pay a direct, unapportioned tax on their labor. Make computerized voting illegal in all 50 states Keep the internet free and out of the control of large institutions Rescind the law called the Real ID Act so Americans never have to carry a National ID Card Make it illegal to implant RFID chips in human beings Educate juries to the fact that they have the right to determine the law as well as the facts of a case Educate juries to the fact that they are not obligated to follow the instructions of a judge Stop Globalization because it is the path to a one world government Protect our borders Restore the environment Put an end to the Patriot Act Sign up millions of Americans so we can accomplish our objectives
I obviousy thinking restoring the environment is one of the most important things on there, but right up there with it are things like keeping the internet free, and stopping globalization. These three things, arnt really directly connected, but all very important. Environmental resotoration for our future generations, and for ourselves. The internet should be free, because in the definition of what the internet is, it says it's free. The point on the internet is that people have access to what they want - not what big box companies want them to have access too. The problem here is that huge industries see the impact that the internet has on getting the real information out, and want an impact its had on this generation to make a stand about things they won't tolerate. Keep that up - and there will be less and less support for big name industries. As for globalization - another post for another day...too much to say, too big of a headache. There are a lot of shots in the second trailer that I shook my head at, and thought "these people are running the most powerful country in the world!?" ...That baffles me more and more each day. That some of the most powerful positions in the entire world are being held by complete idiots that can't even hold their own if a fucking interview.
